The Right Way To Get Flat Sexy Six (6) Pack Abs
Visit any newsstand, and you’ll see that mens abs make the cover of just about every fitness magazine. Not only are they prominently featured in photographs, men’s abs are usually the subject of a feature story inside as well. Namely, these pieces focus on how to crunch them, shape them, sculpt them, rip them, and make them pop. ![]()
The technical name that weightlifters, anatomists, and doctors give this phenomenon is "striation," a word taken from the thrilling world of geology. Striae refer to the grooves or canals that may appear in rocks or shells after years of geologic pressure, but they also describe that "shredded" phenomenon that seems just out of reach for most committed fitness buffs. That’s because this definition only comes from one of two things: a) genetic blessings, and b) tons of insane effort.
Start a plan and stick to it! Plan to do a 30 minute workout each and every day. The problem most people have is that they do not stick to there plans. Stick to your plan and I guarantee you, you will see a big difference! If you have more time on your hands, I advise a 60 minute workout. Also it’s much better if you do your workout in the evening. I’m only going from personal experience here, but exercising in the morning, can help you feel refreshed and make you feel good about yourself all day long.
Many people perform abdominal exercises incorrectly, and they put pressure on the neck as a result. Crunches are notoriously performed wrong, with the hands behind the head, elbows forward, and the chin resting on the chest. This is absolutely not the way to work your abs, and it could put undo stress on the neck.
What Is It about Men’s Abs?
Why it is that men’s abs take center stage when it comes to fitness and weight training? Why the obsession with perfect obliques, a rip-roaring transversus abdominis, and a chiseled rectus abdominis? Could it be that they’re simply in such high demand because they’re in such short supply? That’s undoubtedly part of it, but a strong midsection is also the hallmark of a solid "core," those muscles that make up the torso and help athletes excel.
A strong core pulls the weight, so to speak, for everything else, including the arms and legs. Ever seen a guy at the gym with ballooned out arms and a staggering chest, then looked down to find a couple of little peg legs? Men who start with a rock-hard core, which includes the muscles of the lower back, lay a foundation for a balanced physique. The "fireplugs" walking around the gym may think they’re strong, but they can’t stack up to athletes who concentrate on their abs and back first.

Body Development with Weights
There are a number of ways that you can increase your strength and develop your body. These range from purchasing a home gym which comprises all the equipment necessary for strengthening and developing the body in one piece of equipment.
All the exercises required for muscle development and shaping the body can be done on this solitary piece of equipment which is manufactured by top home gym manufacturers such as Weirder and Powertec. These pieces of equipment are solidly constructed and built to last for many years. They are not very expensive to purchase and as a result of this are becoming more and more a part of home gym equipment.
Some people however still prefer the traditional method of body building and development and rely entirely on using an Olympic type exercise bench together with a set of plates and barbells. When training in this manner it is also useful to have an adjustable set of dumbbells as part of this setup especially if training at home.
For body strength, development and definition, there is no better method to use than weight training, and the home gym fitness equipment mentioned above is ideal if this is the goal you are looking to achieve.
Ripped ABS
Want Ripped Abs Quick?
Are you looking to get totally ripped abs, or will you settle for abs that are firm and flat without being anything else? It doesn’t really matter what your choice is because to begin with you will need to work your abs in the same manner. It’s only when you reach the point of having firm flat abs that you will need to decide whether you want to maintain the status quo, or whether you want to proceed further down the path to get totally ripped abs.
Of course, not everyone wants to have such well defined abs, and in fact most people would be happy to see the back of their flabby belly and would settle instead for firm flat abs. However, if you want to be the envy of all your friends, or if you want to enter competitions or things like that, you will want to go further than having a firm flat belly.
Although this might be all well and good for you to flaunt around the next time you’re on the beach, it is simply not going to be enough if you want to do more than that. The other thing you should be aware of is that if you settle for a firm flat tummy it is far easier for you to get back to your sagging belly than if you maintained ripped abs.
So how do you go about getting ripped abs? The same way as you would for a normal flat tummy of course, only with much more work involved once you get past the flat and firm abs stage. To begin with though, you might want to set your sights on getting form flat abs, then graduate into the ripped abs section of things. Always keep your main goal as getting ripped abs, but by creating smaller goals such as getting flat firm abs first, you have already achieved something that you can be proud of, and that you can use as a good motivator.
If you are having trouble trying to get into the groove of things, or if you are having trouble trying to figure out exactly where to start in order to get your ripped abs, then you might want to think about seeing a fitness coach or some other such individual as that, someone who is qualified to help you get a good exercise routine going, and someone who also knows exactly what they’re doing and so can help you on your way to getting the ripped abs that you want.
